1-Gallon Sharps Container
Sharps pickup is available on your regular waste collection day. Must be picked up from your door; sharps containers may not be placed outside.
Oregon State law (OAR 437-02-360) determines how you dispose of special residential waste and regulates the disposal, storage, and transportation of potentially infectious waste. Specifically: needles and lancets used for “at-home” medical care. It is against this law to dispose of any syringes, lancets, or needles in your trash receptacle.
